Those of you who download trials videos on a regular basis have probably come across Chris Akrigg riding a brakeless trials bike. My first impression when seeing these videos was that the riding was an awesome demonstration of Akrigg’s talent but not really of any use to average ability riders like myself.
I have never really got why a lot of BMXers run brakeless always thinking that you may as well at least run a rear brake.
However recently I was mucking around in the backyard and just started trying to ride brakless for fun by death gripping the handlebars and before long I was hooked.
